Your Old Droog Infatuated with MSNBC’s Tamron Hall on ‘On the News’

On The News Cover

He’s at it again. The mysterious rapper that some believe (or don’t believe) is Nas has released a new song dedicated to the gorgeous MSNBC news anchor/’Today Show’ co-host Tamron Hall.

On Your Old Droog‘s love song ‘On the News,’ he reveals his infatuation for the beautiful news anchor.

“Got me going so bezerk they be stressing me at work / And my girlfriend wants to irk, stress relaxation on some oxymoron / Get alone and put channel four on / Who do I see, my baby dressed tight looking right,” he spits.

Droog himself produced the soulful track, along with EL RTNC, with its soul samples and bubbling bass guitars.

Hall did respond on Twitter to Droog but it left us scratching our heads. The news anchor simply retweeted the link to the song and wrote, “Thx??”

So we don’t know if Hall is flattered by the tune or not, but the under-the-radar rapper is spot-on in his assessment of the lovely Hall. It’s surprising that no one has pen a love song to her before.
