After creeping out of obscurity in DJ Skizz's 'Just Rhymin With Skizz' video, rapper Your Old Droog releases visuals for 'Nutty Bars,' a lyrical banger that he dropped earlier this year.

The clip opens up with a shot of a bodega, then pans to a close-up of Droog spitting his impressive verses. Clearly, director Horus wanted the MC's skills to be the star of the video, as most of the shots are not overly done and capture the New York City streets.

A day-in-the-life of the rapper is the theme here, as you'll see different shots of his rhyme book, pages of musical notes and Droog simply walking around the neighborhood.

"There's a lot of great songwriters, tremendous singers / But everybody's not into Vienna fingers / I bring a different kinda wafer, that ain't the way for me, hide out 'til the block is safe / Nutty bars ain't no chocolate wafers, wanna see what I can do, get out my way first," he raps.

'Nutty Bars' appears on Your Old Droog's self-titled EP. Hopefully, we'll get to hear more from this talented lyricist. Despite sounding a bit like Nas, his lyrical approach is unique.
