Police are currently seeking Atlanta rapper Young Vito in connection with the candy-related murder of Brick Squad affiliate Slim Dunkin.

The 24-year-old Waka Flocka Flame associate was shot and killed in an Atlanta recording studio on Friday (Dec. 16), just hours before he was scheduled to appear on a music video set for 'Push Ups,' a song he appeared on with Gucci Mane and V-Nasty, from their 'BAYTL' street album.

On the eve of Slim Dunkin's funeral, police have revealed that 28-year-old suspect Vinson Hardimon, aka rapper Young Vito, is wanted in connection with the shooting, and have asked that he turn himself in, out of concern for his safety.

"We are urging Mr. Hardimon to turn himself in to authorities because we have reason to believe he may be in danger," the police told the Atlanta Journal Constitution.

Slim Dunkin, born Mario Hamilton, reportedly snatched candy from another man's hands, and was murdered in the ensuing scuffle. He will be laid to rest at Berean Christian Church on Friday (Dec. 23), in a ceremony paid for in part by Gucci Mane and Waka Flocka.

Police have requested that anyone with information about the whereabouts of Young Vito call their tip line at 404-577-TIPS (8477).
