Young Thug's Slim Season 3 may not be happening.

A video of 300 Entertainment co-founder Lyor Cohen declaring that "we're gonna bury Slime Season 3" has served as an apparent announcement of the project's demise. “Today in Austin, we’re going to bury Slime Season 3,” Cohen says in the video, posted by DJ Akademiks. "We’re going to have a funeral procession right through South By Southwest.”

Thugger announced the highly-anticipated project back in December, then stated that  SS3 would arrive in February; the Atlanta rapper even released cover art. But, despite what appears to be at least a halt on the project, there's confusion as to what Cohen was attempting to convey.

Shortly after the video hit the Web, Young Thug’s video director, Be El Be, hopped on Twitter to try and put out some rumor fires by "explaining" what "Lyor meant."

"What Lyor meant was, dropping SS3 and getting past all the talk and this era of thug,” Be El Be tweeted. "Moving forward to dropping albums and hits SS3 OTW.”

Ah...that's what he meant. Supposedly.

The project was the follow-up to November's Slime Season 2, and it's unclear whether or not this just signifies Young Thug is done with the Slime Season moniker entirely.
