Tragedy has struck Young Thug's security personnel. The rapper's bodyguard, Quintavius Waters, was shot and killed on Monday (Dec. 7) inside his Atlanta apartment. He was 23.

Waters, who also worked security for Club Lacura, was found dead and face down on his bed by his roommate. According to WSB-TV, Waters' Yorkshire terrier and black 2001 Ford Mustang convertible were missing at the time of the investigation.

According to a police official, Major Adam Lee III, Waters had a gunshot wound to the head. Detectives found no signs of forced entry, which leads them to believe that the killer was someone familiar to Waters. “Whoever did this, apparently they were invited in or they knew the subject," said Lee.

Waters' friend, Toboris Character, also spoke to the police and said that he warned Waters on being too friendly with people in Atlanta.

“When I first met him, he was so welcoming, letting me into his home,” Character told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “And I told him, ‘You can’t do that in Atlanta.’ I guess he did that to someone else, to the wrong person.”

Thugger has yet to release a statement on the unfortunate incident.
