Young Thug Puts the Focus Back on His Music With ‘Pacifier’

Young Thug has had a tumultuous summer. The rapper has been lauded for his musical skills, but has been the subject of tabloid fodder as of late due to being at the enter of an alleged plot to kill Lil Wayne, getting arrested for drug violations and threatening to shoot a mall security guard. Now he puts the focus back on his music with the new track "Pacifier."

Produced by Mike WiLL Made It, who believes the song has the potential to be a No. 1 record, "Pacifier" is reportedly the first single off of Thugger's forthcoming album, Hy!£UN35 (HiTunes) The track features a slight rock vibe and finds the rhymer as coherent as ever, which should be a plus to anyone who's had trouble deciphering his infamous warbles and wailing.

Doing work over guitar riffs and drums, Birdman's current cash cow raps, "I ain't tryna' roll no dice, I just wanna make it right / When I f--- her, I'ma turn her / Turn her over, turn her Turner like Ike." This could very well be another contender for song of the summer.

While there's no word as to when his Slime Season mixtape will touch down, "Pacifier" proves that Thugger is still grinding in between the madness now that he's out on $10,000 bail.
