Young Thug is "ready to die" for the cause in the "For My People" video.

The 24-year-old rapper dons army fatigue as he marches around an empty warehouse with six women who look ready for war.

"I put it down for my people / Ready to die for my people," raps the ATLien in the first verse.

The Be El Be-directed visual gets anarchistic as Thugger leads the troops out into "battle" -- or the streets of a city. Thugger's weapon-wielding followers grow as they're placed in formation with their black power fists held high. He also lights up some colorful smoke bombs that add to the militaristic aesthetic.

Thugger has been on a roll lately. The video comes shortly after rumors of the Atlanta rapper collaborating with Elton John on a remix of "Rocket Man" spread. He also got a shout out from Kanye West who tweeted that Young Thug should be at the Grammys. Thugger is also slated to appear at Wireless Festival in London this July. Future, J. Cole, Bryson Tiller, Miguel and Vic Mensa are just some of the big names set to take the stage at the festival as well.

"For My People" comes from Young Thug's latest mixtape, I'm Up. His highly-anticipated next project, Slime Season 3, has been gaining traction as well, and is set to be released later this year.

In the meantime, check out the "For My People" video above and let us know what you think the comments below. Would you follow Young Thug into battle or nah?
