Looks like Young Thug is living up to his name. The Atlanta rhymer was arrested early Wednesday morning (July 15) for allegedly threatening to shoot a mall security guard in the face.

Thugger, whose real name is Jeffrey Lamar Williams, was taken into custody at 6 a.m. without incident at a residence in Sandy Springs, Ga., according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Thug is being charged with making terroristic threats.

The arrest stems from a July 7 incident in which the “Lifestyle” rapper got into a confrontation with a security guard at the Perimeter Mall in Atlanta. According to an arrest warrant, Thug was asked to leave the mall and was being escorted out when he “threatened to shoot (a security guard) in the face.”

The 22-year-old artist is currently being held at the DeKalb County jail and is expected to appear at a bond hearing later today.

This isn't the "Stoner" rapper's first time behind bars. Last year, he was arrested for drug possession, driving without a seat belt, reckless conduct and driving in a circular or zig-zag course “laying drags" after he was initially stopped for a traffic violation.
