With the success of Cardi B and her cut "Bodak Yellow," some may find it hard to remember there was another New York female rapper who had everyone's attention not too long ago: Young M.A.

After dropping the EP Herstory in April, the Brooklyn rapper is back with a new cut called "Walk," where she addresses the people who say she's been missing in action.

"They was tryna to get me, they was tryna get me out / Like ya'll don't know what I'm about, ya'll do it for the clout / The streets like 'Where you at?' / I told n----- I'm en route / I was working at the house / In the stu sleeping on the couch, trying to figure out what my next move is," she spit.

Young M.A. also released a video for song, where she walks around the studio dipped in red leather and tokes on a blunt. Some might say the straightforwardness of the clip goes perfectly with the rapper's laid back flow and demeanor.

The last time we heard from the "Ooouuu" MC, she was living it up with her crew in the "Same Set" video. She also joined fellow New Yorkers Dave East and Nas at Pandora's @SoundLikeNYC concert over the summer and hopped on T-Pain's song "F.B.G.M." around then.

There's no telling if "Walk" will end up on an upcoming project of Young M.A.'s, but we can only hope. You can check out the new song and video above.
