It looks like Young Dolph is on the mend. A week after he was shot multiple times in Los Angeles, the Memphis rapper posted his first tweet on Twitter on Sunday (Oct. 1).

The tweet was short and sweet. “Its DOLPH!” he wrote with a bunch of dolphin emojis. Dolph didn’t offer any updates regarding his health, but it looks like he’s fine and well.

Dolph was reportedly was shot during an altercation with Yo Gotti’s crew outside of the Loews Hotel. According to reports, someone pulled out a gun and shot Dolph, striking him several times in the torso.

“The two camps had an argument, which escalated to a physical fight,” said LAPD Officer Meghan Aguilar. “At one point, Young Dolph was knocked to the ground. And then one of the suspects pulled out a handgun and began shooting at him.”

Corey McClendon, an associate of Yo Gotti, was arrested in connection to the shooting and was charged with suspicion of attempted murder. However, the 43-year-old was released from jail last Thursday (Sept. 28), according to FOX13 Memphis.

Prosecutors are asking police to conduct additional investigation before a decision is made on whether to file criminal charges.

Meanwhile, fans on Twitter rejoiced over Dolph's tweet. Many were overjoyed that the Bulletproof rapper is alive and tweeting.
