Yo Gotti is currently being sought by police for his alleged role in a nightclub shooting, which occurred over Thanksgiving weekend in Memphis, Tenn.

The '5 Star' performer, born Mario Mims, attended Memphis' Level II venue in November when a verbal argument began that involved both Gotti and another rapper, OG Boo Dirty. Several people in the immediate vicinity got involved and gun shots were fired, wounding six people. An affidavit obtained by Memphis Channel 3 News revealed that neither of the rappers were injured.

As a result of the shooting, 11 warrants were issued on Friday night (Dec. 10), including one for Yo Gotti who has yet to turn himself in to authorities because he is "out of town," according to his lawyer Adam Horne. By Saturday (Dec. 11), three men--Vernon McClendon, Kenneth Mason, and Howard Greer--were in custody on charges of aggravated riot.

"He just wanted his fans and the public to know that... he doesn't condone that type of behavior, and that again, he plans to deal with the charges that have been filed against him," Horne said. "Once he comes back and deals with the allegations, I think his name will be cleared."
