Yelawolf Announces Tour, Will Perform at Brisk Bodega
Alabama MC Yelawolf is gearing up for the release of his Shady Records debut, 'Radioactive,' on Oct. 24 and he'll be hitting the masses with his tunes on his Hard White tour, which begins later this month.
The 'Pop the Trunk' creator embarks on the performance spree beginning Sept. 28, where he'll hit Starkville, Miss. Yela will spit lyrics from his 'Trunk Muzik 0-60' effort as well as new material from his follow-up alongside DJ Craze and Rittz, who are both on tour with the rapper. Stops for Hard White include venues in Chicago, Los Angeles, New York and Baltimore, among others. The southern rhymer will close out the tour on Oct. 28, having hit 23 cities in total.
The Hard White tour may ring a bell for Catfish Billy fans as the name was inspired by the first single from his 'Radioactive' LP, titled 'Hard White (Up in the Club).'
As he prepares for the tour, he'll display his lyrical talents at Brisk Bodega in New York City on Saturday (Sept. 17), during a performance alongside Slaughterhouse. The pop-up bodega celebrates the evolution of Shady Records with photos of 'The Slim Shady LP' outtakes by photographer Daniel Hastings, costumes from the 'The Marshall Mathers LP,' including trench coats, boots, overalls, hockey mask and chainsaw from the cover, the Crank Yankers puppet of Paul Rosenberg, which was seen in the 'Ass Like That' video and Eminem's 30 Million albums sold plaque, among other memorabilia.
