Yasiin Bey has been spotted stateside. After being granted to leave Africa, the rapper-activist arrived in Miami to partake in the annual Art Basel festivities.

Over the weekend, Bey did an interview with WNL Radio where Bey revealed that he will perform a couple of songs from his Mannie Fresh collaborative project and more.

“I will be premiering my new album, Negus In Natural Person, and me and Mannie Fresh’s project, which is called As Promised, at The Apollo on December 21,” he said (quotes via Okayplayer). Bey then premiered new music on the air.

Producer Ferrari Sheppard would also confirmed to Okayplayer that Bey will perform some songs from Negus and As Promised. Although there are no release dates for the projects, Shappard said, "They are complete.”

So if we do the math, Bey has three projects in the works, including his upcoming collaborative effort with Sheppard called Dec 99th. That album will drop on Friday (Dec. 9) exclusively on Tidal.

As we previously reported, Bey will perform four final shows in New York and Washington, D.C., before he officially retires from the rap game. The 42-year-old rhymer will appear at the Apollo Theater on Dec. 21 followed by his shows at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in D.C. on Dec. 31 through Jan. 2, 2017.
