Yesterday, the line-up for ONE Musicfest in Atlanta was announced, and in an exciting surprise move, Yasiin Bey will perform a final farewell performance at the two-day festival.

Now in its eighth year, ONE Musicfest has had several memorable performances in the past, including Nas performing his classic Illmatic in its entirety in 2015, and last year's festival when the entire Dungeon Family—including OuKast, Goodie Mob and Organized Noize— hit the stage for a historic reunion. This year's farewell performance by one of hip-hop's most revered artists should be another one for the books.

In December, Yasiin Bey teamed with Ferrari Shepard to drop Dec. 99th and did a series of shows at the Apollo Theater alongside rap legends Slick Rick and Pharoahe Monch before heading to D.C. for three nights in what was to be one of his final appearances. Given that he announced his retirement, the news that he'll perform a farewell show in Atlanta is particularly exciting.

Also announced on the bill for the popular festival is Damian Marley, Jidenna, Too $hort, J. Cole signees J.I.D. and Ari Lennox, No Name, Jill Scott, Kaytranada and Tank and the Bangas among others.
