After spending eight years together as a couple, Yandy Smith and Mendeecees Harris are finally walking down the aisle. Since much of their relationship was put on display via Love & Hip Hop, it only made sense for the two to tie the knot live on VH1.

Set inside a venue in Brooklyn, the affair was the place to be on Monday evening (May 25). The newly married pair received some major love from their own Love & Hip Hop cast mates like Peter Gunz, Rich Dollaz and Tara Wallace. Kimbella, who served as Yandy's bridesmaid, was a tad late but made it in enough time to get herself pretty for the ceremony.

Former cast member Juelz Santana was also there as one of Mendeecees' groomsmen. He had the big task of holding down Yandy's $30,000 wedding ring, which was from Avianne & Co Jewelers in New York City. Mendeecees also had his son, Lil Mendeecees, be the best man while his middle child, Aasim, had the duty of holding down his dad's $12,000 wedding band. He carried the pricy jewelry down the aisle in a crystal carriage like the one Cinderella used to arrive to the ball.

Mona Scott-Young (the reason Love & Hip Hop exists) and other VH1 reality stars showed up including R&B crooner and Love & Hip Hop Hollywood star Ray J and Renee Graziano and Karen Gravano from Mob Wives. Plus a number of cast members from Love & Hip Hop Atlanta attended like Karlie Redd, Scrappy, Rasheeda and Kirk Frost, Yung Joc, Momma Dee, Joseline Hernandez and Stevie J, who was also one of the televised wedding special's hosts alongside Nina Parker and Darian “Big Tigger” Morgan. K. Michelle was also there to perform an emotional cover of Leela James "Fall for You" and also gifted Yandy a necklace for her "something blue." The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss also made an appearance.

Yandy, who clearly had majority of the say in the day's nuptials, made sure that everything was perfect and lavish, of course. Not only did she spend $90,000 for flowers but she also had a choice between two $25,000 Pnina Torai gowns, which she let the fans vote on via social media. In the end, the fans made their choice known and Yandy walked down the aisle in what was dubbed as the "bling princess" gown, which was an elegant tulle number with a crystal encrusted bodice.

"I can't believe I'm here," Yandy said. "I'm just happy."

Despite how happy and excited Mendeecees was, he and Yandy did clash over a number of things regarding the wedding and their family's future. First, it's the fact that she's tossing so much money into the wedding -- we've all lost count on how much the total bill was for this affair. "If it were up to me, we would have jumped the broom and kept moving," Mendeecees said. "There's 300 [guests] but I get 30."

Then there's the fact that Yandy wants to have two more children. However with Mendeecees' current legal problems and potential of going to jail, he's very hesitant. But if Yandy becomes pregnant again, they'll deal with it as a family. However, one thing Yandy really had to square away before becoming Medeecees' wife is making peace with his mom, Judy. And although there was a discussion about Judy being left out of the wedding plans, it seems those issues were put aside (for now). Judy can't wait to welcome Yandy into the Harris family.

Despite any family drama, Yandy and Mendeecees do get to walk down the aisle and say, "I do." They each wrote their own wedding vows and the couple promised their love and commitment to one another in front of all their friends and family as well as the rest of the VH1 viewers.

"I promise to love and protect you through all the days of my life forever," Mendeecees said.

While Yandy, who had tears in her eyes, said, "I prayed many moons and sunsets that I'd be standing right here where I am…If ever the world should turn its back on you, I will be right here by your side with no judgment… I'm a better me because you love me."

Congratulations to Yandy and Medeecees.
