It looks like XXXTentacion's hard work is paying off. The Florida rhymer’s song “Look at Me” has been certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

The song initially premiered on the internet on producer Rojas’ SoundCloud account in December 2015. A month later, it was available for digital download as a single. In 2017, the song, produced by Rojas and Jimmy Duval, became a viral sensation and the lead single on his Revenge mixtape.

This month, XXXTentacion is expected to drop his debut studio album, 17, The 19-year-old rapper describes the collection, which arrives on Aug. 25, as his first body of work.

"I mean it when I say this project is absolutely amazing,” he wrote in an Instagram post. “If you listen to me to get hype or to not think, don’t buy this album, this one is for the depression, for the depressed ones, for the lost ones.”

Before the album release, XXXTentacion treated fans with a leftover track, “Ok Shorty!,” which he promises is not on the project.
