TV One's hit show Unsung is coming back for its 11th season and will premiere with artist profiles on Wyclef Jean and Jagged Edge for a two-hour double-feature.

The show has a new Sunday time slot and will premiere with Jean's profile on July 9 at 9 p.m ET. Immediately following that episode, Jagged Edge's profile will premiere at 10 p.m ET. Throughout the new season, the docu-series will also feature artist profiles on Marvin Sapp (July 16), Switch (July 23), The Dramatics (July 30), Shanice (Aug. 6), and Ice-T (Aug. 13).

“From classic R&B to hip-hop and gospel, Unsung is known for offering music lovers in-depth behind-the-scenes views into the lives of their favorite performers,” said TV president Brad Siegel in a statement announcing the coming season.

Sigel is hopeful the new 10 p.m time slot will give more people a chance to watch the show. “We are moving the series to Sunday nights to allow more of our viewers a chance to wind down their summer weekends with an evening of inspiring music to take you down memory lane,” Siegal said.

Unsung is narrated by actor Gary Williams and has a profiled a catalog of artists that include, Sugarhill Gang, Nate Dogg, DJ Quick, YoYo, Bone Thugs In Harmony, and Kurupt. Check out the new season promo clip above.
