Each year, throngs of college students wait in anticipation to see where MTV will hold their annual Spring Break festivities and who they'll tap to soundtrack the grand event. This year, artists like Wiz Khalifa and Lupe Fiasco will join MTV in Sin City.

MTV and mtvU have announced the lineup for the Spring Break 2011 extravaganza, which will carry on from March 6 to March 10 at Las Vegas' Palms Resort & Casino. Khalifa is set to headline the four-day party, while Fiasco, pop crooner Jason Derulo and Miami rapper Pitbull are also scheduled to join the 'Black and Yellow' performer. MTV has promised that a slew of special guests will make appearances on the poolside stage.

Spring Break festivities are an annual tradition for MTV. The first ever MTV Spring Break was held at Daytona Beach, Fla. in 1986. This year's party is the first time the event is being held in Las Vegas, with past MTV Spring Break performers traveling to beach resorts in Miami and Cancun to showcase their hits.

As for headliner Wiz Khalifa, the spliff-toting rapper has made recent headlines for photos set to appear in an upcoming issue of FADER magazine. The 'Rolling Papers' creator will appear in the publication in a behind-the-scenes story of his life, which includes some interesting photos of he and Kanye West's ex-girlfriend Amber Rose canoodling. According to the images, the rumors of a Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose romance are finally confirmed.
