Hip-hop was heavily embraced in New York City Saturday night (Sept. 15) as rapping stoner Wiz Khalifa and Bad Boy rhymer French Montana graced the stage inside Basketball City at Pier 36 for the Heineken Red Star Access tour.

Attendees sipped on Heineken brew, ate pizza and grilled cheese from gourmet food trucks and snacked on ice cream cones while taking in the performances from the two rap staples.

Montana, showing off a slender frame in a track jacket, grabbed the mic first, moving through his hits, assisted by Chinx Drugz. "I'm a Coke Boy," "Stay Schemin'" and "Pop That" were all included in the Excuse My French creator's set.

Wiz, decked out in a jean jacket and New York-inspired T-shirt, welcomed a drummer for his show, giving a live band feel to many of his weed-loving anthems. He gave shine to some of his Taylor Allderdice tracks including "Mary 3x" and "California," repped for the Taylors on his "Taylor Gang" ode, hit "Black and Yellow" and closed out his set with "Work Hard, Play Hard," featured on his forthcoming sophomore LP, O.N.IF.C.
