Although there's a few days left on the calendar before the year comes to an end, rapper Wiz Khalifa is already planning ahead for 2016. The Taylor Gang honcho has announced plans to release a mixtape in January.

According to Wizzy, the tape is called Project Khalifa and will arrive in January 2016. The collection will feature "unreleased music that nobody's ever heard before." The "We Dem Boyz" rapper also revealed that his next full-length album will be titled Rolling Papers 2 and is set to drop sometime in 2016.

Wiz surprised fans with the good news in a video clip he uploaded to YouTube that features him smoking a joint while addressing his delegation of devoted "Taylors."

"Nobody really knows this, I plan on putting out a project with some unreleased music that nobody’s ever heard before and I’m gonna call it Project Khalifa," he said.

The sequel to his 2011 major label debut, Rolling Papers 2, is the follow-up to his 2014 release, Blacc Hollywood, and should be among the more anticipated albums of the year.

Wiz also gave a huge shout out to his fellow Taylor Gang members Ty Dolla $ign and Juicy J, and thanked his fans for an “awesome year.”

Wiz was very active in 2015 despite not releasing an album. The "No Sleep" rapper hit it big with his elegiac song, "See You Again," which peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 Songs chart and the accompanying video reached one billion views on YouTube.

On top of that, Wiz garnered three Grammy nominations, including Song of the Year for “See You Again,” as well as a Golden Globe nod for Original Song.
