As reported by AOL Music, while fans, friends and family mourn the death of Whitney Houston, new details are emerging about the legend's last days before her untimely passing on February 11. According to TMZ, Houston had a premonition about her own death just hours before her body was discovered in the bathroom of a Beverly Hills hotel room.

A source claims Whitney "really wanted to see Jesus" in her final days, adding that the singer turned to spirituality as she sensed her time was drawing near. Houston allegedly spent a great deal of time quoting Bible passages, singing hymns and engaging in "intense conversations about Jesus Christ and the afterlife" with her close friends and family. "I'm gonna go see Jesus ... I want to see Jesus," she reportedly told members of her inner circle.

Whitney, who grew up in the Baptist church singing gospel music, performed for what turned out to be the last time alongside R&B singer Kelly Price at Tru nightclub in Hollywood. They dueted on the gospel tune 'Yes Jesus Loves Me.'

The next morning, Whitney was reportedly discussing a Bible passage about John the Baptist and Jesus when she smiled and said, "You know, he's so cool ... I really want to see that Jesus." This was supposedly just hours before her death.

Could Whitney sense her time was coming, or does the report lend credence to suicide speculation?
