For the third installment of 'Where Are They Now?' we checked in with Keith Thornton AKA Dr. Octagon AKA Dr. Dooom AKA Black Elvis, but for the purposes of this feature we're going to stick with his most popular moniker, Kool Keith. A decade before hip-hop embraced whimsy and avantgarde artists, Kool Keith -- a founding member of the Ultramagnetic MCs -- made a statement with his genre-crossing, unique style. As the sex-crazed, time traveling gynecologist Dr. Octagon, the emcee collaborated with Dan the Automator and KutMasta Kurt for his solo debut 'Dr. Octagonecologyst,' a trippy, psychedelic album released while gangster rap was at its peak. A decade plus later, Keith is still putting out music and performing across the globe.

Check out the video after the jump to catch up with the eclectic veteran rapper.
