Think Jay Z and Nas’ dispute on diss tracks like ‘Takeover’ and 'Ether,' respectively. Then there were others like Beanie Sigel's 'Jadakiss Diss' and the 'F--- Beanie Sigel' delivered by Kiss.

But since the birth of Twitter in 2006, it’s much easier for rappers to air out their issues in 140 characters or less, directing their opinions straight at their opponents without cashing out on studio and production costs.
