Goodie Mob made their way to the 'Late Night With Jimmy Fallon' stage last night to perform bass-y new single 'Special Education' with some help from The Roots.

The appearance serves as a friendly yet in-your-face reminder that the seminal Atlanta group is set to release their comeback album, 'Age Against The Machine,' on Aug. 27. And even though we haven't heard much of it yet aside from a few singles, there's a lot to love about all this.

For one, Cee-Lo is finally rapping again, and the beats have a current sound without pandering too much to trends. This might not be the 'Soul Food' Goodie Mob many of us grew up on in the '90s, but they sound hungry and ready to enter a new stage in their career. These are all very, very good things.
