This week, Rihanna celebrated her 29th birthday, and tons of celebrities and friends paid tribute to their favorite bad gal in the music industry.

While many big names, and even PornHub, saluted the singer, one of her closest longtime friends, and rumored ex-boo, Drake, decided to do something even more special. The Toronto rapper performed in Dublin, Ireland for a stop on his Boy Meets World Tour, where he slotted out some time to tribute to one of his favorite women.

Drizzy performed a medley of some of their biggest hits, which included their recent chart-topping "Work," as well as their 2011 hit, "Take Care," and "Too Good" off of his recent album, VIEWS.  “It’s somebody’s birthday today—somebody I have a lot of love for and a lot of respect for. Instead of singing ‘Happy Birthday,’ we’re going to set it off just like this…” Drake told the crowd before launching into the medley.

Drake and Rihanna have accomplished a lot together, and have also been rumored to have an on-and-off relationship over the years. The two may not be together anymore, but they definitely still have a lot of respect for each other.
