Wale released his fifth studio effort, SHINE, today (April 28), ahead of his May 5 release date. The album features the gorgeous cover art of a baby’s hand holding a bright blue moon. The LP is available for streaming and downloading on Apple Music (above), Spotify (below) and other digital services.

The 14-song collection features the previously released singles "Running Back" featuring Lil Wayne, "Fashion Show" with G-Eazy and "My PYT." Among the guests appearing on the album are Major Lazer, Wizkid, Dua Lipa, Travis Scott, Phil Ade, Chris Brown and many others. Even Wale’s daughter, Zyla Moon, makes her recording debut on the sunshiny outro “Smile.”

Among the highlights on the album include the Caribbean-flavored “My Love” and “Colombia Heights (Te Llamo),” his shout-out to D.C.’s Latino-populated neighborhood in which Wale raps in Spanish on the track.

Elsewhere, Wale gets in loverman mode on the rap ballads “Heaven on Earth” and the explicit "DNA" (aka “D--- N Advice”) where the DMV rapper spits a sexy poem to his potential lover.

Overall, Wale delivers another solid project with SHINE. Listen to the album above and below.
