Maybach Music Group signee Wale hit the stage at the 'Late Night With Jimmy Fallon' show Wednesday night (Jan. 18). The D.C. native welcomed crooner Miguel to perform alongside him as he rapped through 'Lotus Flower Bomb,' a song on his sophomore LP 'Ambition.'

"My name's Wale, I'm from Washington D.C.," the rap star told the audience before The Roots assisted him as a supporting band. "Double MG representer, B.O.A. Make some noise y'all!"

Dressed in a cream-colored vest, green-and-purple flannel shirt and sporting glasses, Wale let Miguel commence the track, crooning the powerful line, "Lotus flower bomb, firefly/ When I'm low she take me high/ I could teach you all the sounds of love."

The dreadlocked MC then chimed in. "Took her forever to get dressed, I acknowledge her effort/ So I clap for her, she deserves an applause/ Shorty working so hard, she deserve that baton," Wale rhymed.

The lyricist's 'Ambition' album debuted in November 2011. The effort features the aforementioned track and other gems like 'Slight Work' with support from Big Sean and 'Focused' featuring Kid Cudi. The BoomBox spent a day with the tattooed entertainer as he promoted his LP. Check out a Day in the Life of Wale here.
