2010 is approaching its end, but Wale already has big plans for the New Year. The emcee, who released his debut album 'Attention Deficit' via Interscope Records last year, has hinted that he inked a deal with Rick Ross' Maybach Music imprint.

"Maybach Music. It had to be done ... 2011 gonna be serious situation," Wale wrote. "New year, new sounds, new deal, same Olubowale 2011 is gonna be beautiful, glory be to God." The D.C. native, whose real name is Olubowale Victor Akintimehin, originally inked a $1.3 million deal with Interscope to release 'Attention Deficit.' Despite positive reviews, the LP only managed to move 28,000 copies for a debut at No. 21 in its first week, prompting the rapper's manager to blame the lukewarm sales on under-shipped product.

The 26-year-old rapper most recently dropped off his standout mixtape 'More About Nothing' this past August. Hours before its release, the freebie became a worldwide trending topic with many picking it up. "Over 100K downloads in 3 hrs ... i'm speechless...thnk ya'll so much," Wale wrote. "I really don't know what to say ... this is amazing."
