Wale Teams Up With Akomplice to Launch New Holiday Collection

Just in time for Christmas, Wale has teamed up with Akomplice Clothing to launch an apparel line for the holiday season.

Looking for new ways to highlight its unique style and vibrant threads, the Colorado-based lifestyle and streetwear brand tapped the DMV rhymer for his "creativity and personal style," say Mike and Patrick Liberty, owners of the brand. While it would have been easy to place a logo or two on a T-shirt and package newly steamed Egyptian cotton out to the masses, Wale and Akomplice decided to "welcome the challenge of taking on something unique and technically advanced."

But it wasn't until after the Maybach Music Group rapper saw a pair of ski overalls in Audio Push's latest video "Quick Fast," that he "wanted to fashion his own distinct pair, complete with a corresponding ski mask," says Akomplice.

Now, Wale and the brand from the Centennial State have created the perfect winter fit complete with AQUASEAL waterproof zippers, courtesy of YKK, as well as 3M reflective hits on the knees, ankles and calf.
