Waka Flocka Flame may be a proud vegan but there's one green plant that didn't do his body so good during a recent promotional trip in Seattle -- weed.

Apparently, the Atlanta native overdosed on marijuana, which has been legal in Washington (state) since 2012 and officially hit retail in 2014.

On Monday (April 18), Waka went on his Instagram page to share a photo of himself laid out on a gurney as paramedics tend to him. The caption says that for unknown reasons, he decided to indulge in too many edibles (brownies, cookies and other treats baked with weed) and smoked 20 blunts.

For those who don't know, edibles are far more potent than smoking weed and therefore can lead to overdose much more quickly.

Thankfully, the "Hard in the Paint" rapper survived his dramatic weed ordeal and was once again promoting his music and other projects on Instagram.

This is also a friendly cautionary warning to our readers out there who partake in eating and smoking the sticky icky. You eat too much edibles and you might end up in the hospital.

We are glad that Waka Flocka Flame is okay and is back to rocking the mic.
