Waka Flocka Flame Arrested for Probation Violation
ATL rapper Waka Flocka Flame was arrested for probation violation in Georgia, on Tuesday (March 16) The 23-year-old rapper, real name Juaquin James Malphurs is being held in custody at the Houston County Jail.
According to the Macon-Telegraph, the rapper was previously charged with possession of a sawed-off shotgun, but the nature of his latest violation is unknown. Waka Flocka has made headlines for a series of violent incident in the past few weeks. He was shot during an armed robbery on Jan. 19 in Atlanta, and recently received a black eye after a scuffle with Young Jeezy's CTE crew in a downtown Atlanta clothing store. The rapper is signed to Gucci Mane's So Icey Entertainment, which continues to feud with Jeezy although the two theoretically buried the hatchet in December.
Gucci Mane is currently serving a one year jail sentence after failing to fulfill 600 hours of community service for attacking a nightclub promoter in 2005. Despite his incarceration, Gucci continues to release new music. His next mixture, 'The BurrrPrint 2HD,' will hit debut on April 13. The record will be officially backed by Asylum Records and it is the sequel to last year's release, 'The BurrrPrint.'
