If you've been paying attention to the NBA Free Agency, things haven't been going smoothly for the L.A. Clippers. They recently lost their big man DeAndre Jordan to the Dallas Mavericks, after he signed a four-year contract worth $80 million.

Sources report that Jordan's former teammate Chris Paul was responsible in his decision to bolt from the Clips. Rapper Vince Staples, who is a basketball aficionado, decided to voice his disdain for Chris Paul by mercilessly trashing him on Twitter yesterday (July 6).

"I'm tired of Chris Paul being on this pedestal like he's ever won anything. Somebody show me a high school title, a spelling bee, something," he wrote.

The Summertime '06 creator went on to pay homage to former MVP Allen Iverson and credited him for being able to take a mediocre team to the NBA Finals, while Chris Paul continues to struggle mightily in the playoffs.

"AI WON LEAGUE MVP, ROY & TOOK AARON MCKIE TO THE FINALS WHILE INNOVATING CULTURE NOBODY GOING BALD TO BE LIKE PAUL," Staples added.

To punctuate his point, the West Coast MC was very hyperbolic when he mentioned Chris Paul fans as being under the influence if they in fact believe that he is a top-tier player.

"YOU HAVE TOP 5 CRACK DEALERS OF ALL TIME SERVING YOU IF YOU THINK THIS," the "Senorita" rhymer tweeted.

Things got even more interesting when Staples called on Lil B to place a curse on the Clippers guard. If you recall, Lil B has previously put curses on Houston Rockets guard James Harden and Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant.

"aye @LILBTHEBASEDGOD when are you gonna curse Chris Paul because of his negativity on court," he wrote.

Talk about going in. Check all of Vince Staples' tweets below.
