Vic Mensa takes viewers on a wild ride in his trippy video for “Rollin’ Like a Stoner." As the title suggests, the visual is a psychedelic trip into his the Chicago rapper’s mind.

In his self-directed video, we see Mensa driving around recklessly on the streets both on a motorcycle and in a car. We get flashbacks of his mother tucking him in as a child and other weird images. The grandmother with the “Southside” tattoo etched around her neck is an eye-opener.

“The ‘Rollin' Like A Stoner’ video is about reckless abandon and escapism," said Mensa in a statement to Merry Jane. "The whole thing was filmed on a stage, as a comment on life as an entertainer. I was watching films like Bye Bye Life and Birdman, and 1920s westerns."

“Rollin’ Like a Stoner” is from Mensa’s latest album, The Autobiography. The “U Mad” rapper will join JAY-Z on his “4:44 Tour” tour next month. But before that, you can watch Vic Mensa perform live in concert this Saturday (Sept. 30) in New York. Just tune into TIDAL.com at 9:30PM ET to watch it go down.
