Vic Mensa Joins JAY-Z’s ‘4:44′ Tour

Next month, JAY-Z is set to embark on his "4:44 Tour" and he’s bringing a Roc Nation artist that he has co-signed publicly -- Vic Mensa. The rap mogul has called the Chicago rhymer a “once in a lifetime artist” and gave high praise to his debut album, The Autobiography.

Mensa will appear on all 30 dates of the North American trek, which launches on Oct. 27 in Anaheim, Calif., and wraps up Dec. 21 at The Forum in Inglewood, Calif.

In an interview with Rap-Up, Mensa said that he considers JAY-Z a mentor who he hopes to follow in the same footsteps as the mogul.

"Before I ever met him, I felt like I knew him very well," he said. “He really is the guy from his music, so I guess I did. I bought The Blueprint on CD...and was non-stop repeat listening to that on a Walkman. Hov’s music is a real representation of him.”
