Usher‘s 11-year-old stepson Kile Glover is in critical condition after being struck by a jet ski in Georgia, TMZ reports. The accident took place in Lake Lanier, where the boy — the son of the R&B star’s ex-wife, Tameka Foster — was hit in the head while sitting in inner tube.

Kile was pulled from the water unresponsive and taken to a hospital in Atlanta, according to the gossip site. While Usher and Foster haven’t exactly been on the best of terms since their divorce in 2009, the singer is said to have chartered a plane so that his ex could return from out of town and be at her son’s bedside.

Addition details have yet to emerge regarding Kyle’s condition, but as per TMZ, Foster is grateful for Usher’s gesture.
