Usher Explains Why He Travels With a Hot Tub
Usher dropped by 'Chelsea Lately' recently to discuss his now role as brand ambassador for vodka brand Belvedere Red, his humanitarian efforts and disclosed some interesting details about his touring habits.
Before getting hot and heavy with host -- and rumored 50 Cent flame -- Chelsea Handler, the 'Nice and Slow' singer revealed that he is now representing Belvedere Red, a company which donates 50 percent of its profits towards AIDS and HIV prevention and research in Africa. "The cure has not 100 percent been found for HIV and AIDS in Africa," Usher explained.
Usher and Handler then discussed his sons, Raymond V and Naviyd Ely, who he brings on tour, then moved onto an even more unexpected element of his touring entourage -- the hot tub.
"I wanna know about your love of hot tubs," Handler inquired. "We talked about you on the show once, and that, I don't know if this is true, but that you actually travel with a hot tub? How does that go down exactly?"
"Yeah, a little afterparty motivation," Usher replied. "I normally do it alone, but if you decided you wanna come back stage, you can join me."
"Justin Bieber tries to pull this s--- when he comes here," Handler quipped, before the conversation devolved into further sexual innuendo.
Usher's recent album 'Raymond vs. Raymond' is in stores now. His 'OMG Tour: Live From London' will be available on DVD and Blu-Ray on Nov. 1.
