In the two years since Usher last released album -- 2012's 'Looking 4 Myself' -- R&B has birthed a whole new class of emerging stars, like Mack Wilds, PARTYNEXTDOOR and Sampha. Usher Raymond IV proves there's still country for old men, though, as he debuts his new single, 'Good Kisser.'

Featuring a thick, funky bassline and soaring backing synths, 'Good Kisser' scraps the EDM oomph of Usher's last few singles and instead takes it back to the basics. This decision certainly pays off as the veteran crooner shines over the stripped-down production, shuffling between pitch, delivery and cadence with ease.

If 'Good Kisser' is any indication, his upcoming eighth album is shaping up to be a return to form for Usher. He's been working with big names such as Pharrell, Jermaine Dupri and Diplo on the project, which is slated for a September release. In the meantime, purchase 'Good Kisser' on iTunes.
