Last night, stars descended upon the 2010 American Music Awards, where artists including Usher, Eminem, Black Eyed Peas, Rihanna and more swept the categories. Justin Bieber walked away the night's biggest winner, nabbing Favorite Breakthrough Aritst, Pop/Rock Male Artist, Artist of the Year and Pop/Rock Album, but urban had a heavy hand in the competition.

Usher held it down on the R&B tip, scoring Favorite Soul/R&B Album for 'Raymond v. Raymond' and beating out Alicia Keys and Sade. The singer, who performed his hit 'DJ Got Us Fallin' in Love' during the show, also edged out Trey Songz and Chris Brown for Favorite Soul/R&B Male Artist.

Meanwhile, Eminem took home a few pyramid statues. The 'Love the Way You Lie' emcee won for Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Male Artist over newcomers B.o.B and Drake, also beating out the same nominees with a win for Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Album for his smash release 'Recovery.'

Rihanna, who opened the show, was voted Favorite Soul/R&B Female Artist over Keys and Sade, while the Peas were awarded with Favorite Pop Rock Band/Duo/Group against nominees Lady Antebellum and Train.

The show, which aired live last night on ABC, featured a spread of performances from Enrique Iglesias and Pitbull, Miley Cyrus, Bon Jovi, Kid Rock, Ke$ha, Diddy-Dirty Money and more.
