The short marriage -- and even shorter divorce proceedings -- between Usher and Tameka Foster-Raymond may officially be over. TMZ.com is reporting that as of today (October 21), the status of the court records has been changed to "disposed." According to a court officials, a "disposed" designation means that a divorce has been finalized.

Usher, whose full name is Usher Raymond IV, and Foster-Raymond wed in 2007. Since filing for divorce in July, the couple has been engaged in a very public battle.

Leading up to the announcement of their split, rumors began swirling that the 31-year-old was cheating on his then-wife with a music industry executive. Despite the reports, Foster-Raymond maintained that her marriage was fine up until she was served with the papers. She was said to be blindsided by the divorce.

Adding fuel to the fire, Usher later released the single 'Papers,' in which he put his marriage on blast. "I done damn near lost my mama/ I done been through so much drama/ I done turned into the man I never thought I'd never be/ I'm ready to sign them papers," he sang.

Foster-Raymond responded to the song claiming that Usher was the one holding up divorce proceedings. "Tameka thinks that it's ironic that 'Papers' is his comeback single when she just wants him to sign the paperwork and finalize the divorce," said a source close to the mother of five. "The terms and conditions have been agreed on for around a month, but he keeps stalling on them and she's the one that wants to move on with her life."

Additionally, recordings of a September 911 call during which Usher alleges Foster-Raymond damaged his car after a custody disagreement recently hit the 'net. Police responding to the complaint did not find enough evidence to charge Foster-Raymond, who apparently fled the scene before they arrived.

The former couple shares two young sons, Usher Raymond V and Naviyd Eli Raymond.
