It's not a big deal for a clothing company to put their spin on an established style when entering the game, just ask BAPE. So we didn't bat an aye at seeing Japanese brand UNDERCOVER co-opt Converse's classic Jack Purcell shoe and luckily they did the casual kick justice.

For the Japanese label's first foray into footwear they've chosen to go with a leather build for the familiar face in two colorways, black and white. On the detail side of things an UNDERCOVER toe bumper along with a build up side panel are about as wild as these otherwise understated sneakers get.

Fans of imports will be happy to know that they are exclusively available at UNDERCOVER's flagship store and will run you about $400 a pair. With that high of a barrier to entry it's safe to say that if you procure a pair you may be the only one in you area with them.
