Tyler the Creator Song Gets the Spoken Word Treatment

Youtube

Tyler the Creator probably didn’t see this one coming. A hilarious spoken word version of “Bitch Suck Dick,” from his 2011 LP Goblin was uploaded to Youtube by Bobby Stone on January 21.

Stone subsequently tweeted the link at Tyler and other Odd Future members, but it was potentially lost in the sea of replies that often flood the mention columns of popular artists.

Low and behold, today (Jan. 23), Tyler tweeted out a link to the video.

“Epic,” he wrote, with the video attached.

The video finds Stone reading the words to “Bitch Suck Dick” aloud, in a spoken word style. It’s both hilarious and telling. Absent a backing track, the words of the song — shocking, as intended — become the tune’s central focus. Maybe all songs should get the spoken word treatment!

There are a few others on Stone’s Youtube page. Someone get this kid on HBO’s Brave New Voices.
