Tyler, the Creator is having a bad day. The Odd Future member was arrested Saturday (March 15) for allegedly inciting a riot at the SXSW festival in Austin, Texas.

According to TMZ, Austin police apprehended Tyler at the Austin airport before he could board his flight. The arrest stems from an incident at Tyler’s concert Thursday night (March 13) at Scoot Inn.

According to KXAN News, the 'Yonkers' rapper allegedly encouraged people outside to bum-rush the gates after the venue had already reached its maximum capacity of 999 people inside. "All y’all outside the gates, y’all push through," Tyler reportedly told the crowd.

Police on the scene working security said that people began pushing employees and barged their way into the club. One employee claimed that he was punched in the face by someone in the crowd.

"Regardless of the size of the crowd, the encouragement of unruly and unlawful behavior is against the law and cannot be tolerated," states the affidavit (see below).

Tyler was charged with a Riot-Class A Misdemeanor and is currently held on $25,000 bond.

It appears that Tyler was trying to leave Austin before he got arrested, but it looks like he'll be spending an extended vacation in the Lone Star State. He tweeted:
