Two men were shot following an after-party for Young Money rapper Tyga in New Britain, Conn. early Friday (Oct. 22) morning. According to reports, the two were shot in the rear parking lot of Club Venue around 1AM. The men, ages 24 and 28, were both from nearby Bridgeport, Conn. Although their names have not been released, police revealed to local media outlet WTNH News 8, that one victim was shot in the leg, but both are expected to make a full recovery.

Local police, who were hired to maintain security inside the venue, were unable to apprehend the suspect because the altercation occurred outside. An investigation has been opened to track down the shooter, who is described as a light-skinned black or Hispanic male, 5'8", 180-210 lbs, in his mid-to-late 20s. The man was also believed to have fled the scene in a dark gray Acura.

The party was billed as the official after party following Tyga's performance alongside Drake and the rest of his Young Money family earlier in the evening at the Oakdale Theater in Wallingford, Conn. It was not clear whether or not Tyga was performing in the club or merely made an appearance.

Anyone with information on the suspect or the shooting is encouraged to call New Britain police at 860-826-3065.
