Kanye West is no stranger to extreme controversy when it comes to his thoughts and opinions, but this time, he might have stepped on some serious toes. The "Ultralight Beam" rapper was performing in San Jose for his Saint Pablo Tour stop, when he took some time to talk to the crowd in between songs. Yeezy started speaking on the state of the country, as well as the election, and things went left.

According to a video posted by a fan on social media, Kanye admitted to the crowd that he didn't vote, but then revealed who he would have voted for had he gone to the polls on election day. He stated, "I would have voted for Trump," which was met with some boo's from a large part of the crowd, and few clapping, showing their support. Social media is currently condemning the super producer for his comments, expressing their distaste for Yeezy's support of Trump, whose campaign has promoted racist, bigoted, and xenophobic views across the country.

On top of showing support for Trump, stating that his campaign was "absolutely genius because it fucking worked," he also explained that black people need to stop "being distracted" by racism. `Ye finished his thoughts be encouraging the black community to accept that the U.S. is a racist country, and declared, again, that he would be running for President in 2020.

Tons of fans and critics have reacted to Kanye's comments on Twitter, and it isn't too pretty.

Yeezy's comments come after a year filled with controversial statements from him, as he started off 2016 with a lot of tweets that got him in hot water. From publicly criticizing his ex-girlfriend, Amber Rose, to claiming Bill Cosby as "innocent," `Ye made sure that he wasn't going to be filtered this year.

What are your thoughts on Kanye's comments on Trump? Do you believe he was telling the truth, or just sensationalizing?
