British actor Robert Pattinson appeared on 'The Oprah Winfrey Show,' on Thursday, May 13, where he opened up about his career dreams, before striking gold as a vampire in the film series 'Twilight.'

"I used to want to be a rapper when I was, like, 14," Pattinson, who turns 24 today, told a surprised Oprah, as he explained his technique for pinning down an American accent. "I swear to God." Although a substantial amount of time and career developments have elapsed since Pattinson's initial dream of becoming a rapper, if the Brit actor was to seriously consider a profession in rhyming, he might have a deal waiting for him at G-Unit Records.

G-Unit CEO, 50 Cent, recently told MTV News that he was on the hunt for new artists and talent to join his record label. Fifty said that he was willing to mold aspiring rappers into future G-Unit soldiers, before going on to vocalize that Pattinson might be a good fit. "Robert Pattinson," 50 said, as he thought of his top picks. "He has a big enough following to be the frontline. 'Twilight' ain't no joke."

We're sure Oprah can make an introduction here. The next installment of the film series, 'The Twilight Saga: Eclipse,' hits theaters on June 30.
