Troy Ave has a long legal battle ahead of him but it’s not going to stop him promoting his music.

The embattled rapper released a new music video for “Chuck Norris,” his latest single from his mixtape, Free Troy Ave. The visual features edited clips from various Troy Ave concerts prior to his unfortunate arrest in the shooting take took place at Irving Plaza in New York. Throughout the clip, Ave is celebratory as he counts money, pop bottles and flaunts his lavish lifestyle.

The video is a far cry from what he’s facing now, which is probably a cold cot and steel bars. The clip ends on a heartfelt note with a photo of his friend Ronald “Banga” McPhatter who died during the shooting melee at the club.

In an interview with TMZ, T.I. who was at the club but was not involved in the shooting, wished Troy Ave the best as he prepares for his trial on five felonies: one count of attempted second degree murder and four counts of criminal possession of a weapon.

“Me, myself, I’ve got a lot of love for Troy, and I just think he has enormous potential,” said Tip. “He has his own relationship with God. All you gotta do, man, is keep God first, and you can pull through it."
