Trey Songz is still upset over Nicki Minaj dissing him on Twitter during her feud with Remy Ma last month. On Friday (March 24), the R&B crooner, who just released his new project, Tremaine The Album, was on Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club to offer his opinion on the situation.

If you recall, Remy released her blistering diss song “shETHER,” where she accused the Queen Barbz of sleeping with every man in the industry, including Trey Songz. The R&B crooner, trying to stay natural in the feud, went on his Twitter account and wrote a lighthearted tweet: “Even when you stay out of the way they will have ya name all in some s---. Wake up to new comedy everyday. Focus.”

Minaj felt he didn’t do enough to defend her honor and blasted him by suggesting that she boosted his career with “Bottoms Up,” which she said went six-times platinum. “lol. Wut u SHOULD be saying is that it’s not true, seeing as it’s not. Real niggaz do real things...I done gotchu 6 million plaques,” she clapped back on Twitter.

In the Breakfast Club interview, Songz disagreed with Minaj's assessment, but he also made it clear that he still admires the Young Money superstar.

“Nicki I love you. And Nicki said she gave me six platinum, but let’s keep it real, Nicki ain’t had s--- before 'Bottoms Up,'" he stated. “I love you Nicki. I love you. You came at me wrong, you disrespected me, but I love you."

Songz talks a myriad of topics on The Breakfast Club, including helping out Drake early in his career, his friendship with Meek Mill, his writing process and his sleeping preference—naked or wearing pajamas.
