Travi$ Scott Disses Trey Songz, Tour Bus Surrounded by Goons [VIDEO]
Travi$ Scott has been the center of controversy as of late. After getting into a squabble at the Arizona stop on his Rodeo tour and smoothing over an apparent diss towards J. Cole, the rapper's unpredictable antics and penchant for trouble seem to be getting more coverage than his upcoming debut album, Rodeo. Now the Houston native has even more problems on his plate following a few barbed words he had for R&B star Trey Songz.
During a show at Concord Music Hall in Chicago, Travis was performing onstage and decided to closeout a song by saying "F--- Trey Songz, man," which led to a few laughs and cheers from the raucous crowd. The diss was pretty random and came out of nowhere, but regardless of the intent, Scott's statement must have rubbed the popular crooner the wrong way. When the "Mamacita" MC touched down in Songz's hometown of Virginia, things got a little hectic.
After he dissed Songz again during a tour stop in Norfolk, a few of the locals decided enough was enough and attempted to teach the rapper a lesson, which they caught on camera. The video begins with what appears to be a group of goons surrounding Travi$ Scott and Young Thug's tour bus. A male voice, which is heard during the recording, sends a message to Scott and anybody else planning on disrespecting Virginia. "N----s got Young Thug [tour] bus surrounded... n---- don't wanna open the door, he wanna come to Virginia with that f--- s---t [and] think they gonna get over on n-----s, they got the wrong n-----, man," says the man, who also likely filmed the clip.
He then continues with a few more thinly veiled threats, stating, "For any of you industry n----s think y'all gonna come down here and get over on n----s, nah, n-----, we gon' shut that s--- down on sight."
While it's unclear whether these people are affiliated with Trey Songz or if the singer had anything to do with the goons being there, when all was said and done, peace was kept and no altercations occurred. But if you're at all familiar with the state of Virginia, you'd know that those VA boys don't play games. Travi$ Scott may want to tread lightly when speaking ill of other artists.
