Travis Scott doesn’t do anything that could be perceived as “average” -- not a video, not a stage show or even an awards show performance. The rapper is good for creating an experience to remember and his set during the 2015 BET Hip Hop Awards was no different on Tuesday night (Oct. 13).

The Houston native kept the creativity going with his performance of “Antidote” at the awards show. Initially, nothing much could be seen onstage beyond the foggy mist, just a few barrels and a huge monster truck as he sang his Auto-Tune-drenched lines from another Rodeo album cut "90210." Where was Travis? In the oversized pickup, of course.

All of a sudden, the side and top panels of the vehicle lift and the Epic Records signee jumps out onto one of the massive tires. “Don’t you open up that window,” he starts. “Don’t you let out that antidote / Poppin’ pills is all we know / In the hills is all we know Hollywood.” By the time the bass line drops, the crowd was out of their seat and Scott was finally springing around onstage to the well-timed pyrotechnics at his rear.

“Anything can happen at the night show,” he raps. “Everything can happen at the night show / At the night show / Anything can happen at the night show / At the night show / Your bitch not at home, she at the night show.”

Even with all of the guest appearances on his debut album Rodeo, Travis Scott held his own riding solo at the BET Hip Hop Awards.
