Travi$ Scott is quietly having one of the best years in hip-hop. In addition to releasing his debut full-length, 'Owl Pharaoh,' which spawned the hit, 'Upper Echelon,' featuring T.I. and 2 Chainz, the 21-year-old Houston rapper-producer has also worked on some of the biggest albums of 2013: Kanye West's 'Yeezus,' Jay Z's 'Magna Carta... Holy Grail' and Big Sean's 'Hall of Fame.'

Sitting down with Billboard, Scott discussed being discovered by T.I. and first meeting Kanye (he is signed to both Grand Hustle and G.O.O.D. Music), getting the invite from Hov to work on 'MCHG,' and his contributions to 'Yeezus.' Looking ahead, Travi$ hinted at work on 'Watch the Throne 2,' revealed that he's working closely with Tip and Ye on his "next level" upcoming debut album, and announced that he's directing the video to Wale's 'Rotation,' which he also produced.

Watch Travi$ Scott perform 'Owl Pharaoh' cuts 'Uptown' and 'Upper Echelon' below.
